Dear residents of Ward 1

Running for City Council was not something I ever imagined I would do, but it was a rewarding experience thanks to you. I did not encounter a single unkind word or action during this campaign. Thanks so much to my friends and family, and even complete strangers, who showed up with extraordinary support. And thanks to the residents of Ward 1 for being so welcoming at your doors and for engaging in meaningful conversations about our city.

I’m not disappointed. I think Kate Hunter will be a great representative for our Ward. Good luck to her and all the other elected members of our new council.

Accountability and Transparency

I sat in on the Economic Prosperity and Growth Planning Committee meeting today, where the committee voted to delay the new proposed Heritage by-law until more public consultation is held. It’s always good news when Council takes the concerns of the public seriously. Coming Home

Hello, Ward 1, I’m seeking the nomination for City Council in your neighbourhood. I spent the first 26 years of my life in this neighbourhood, and it is truly my home. After 26 years living in downtown Fredericton, I’m so happy to be back. I don’t have an agenda and I don’t want to just pay lip service to the issues that are important to you.
